Kristi Noem, the director of homeland security, was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday.
Secretary Noem “had an intolerant response immediately. Out of a lot of prudence, she was taken to the hospital. Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin praised her for being sensitive and recovering.
