'The battle begins': Iran's Khamenei hits back at Trump's threats; US may join strikes

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the chief of Iran’s Supreme Leader, warned the “terrorist Zionist plan” in a number of articles on early Wednesday and said” the war begins” in the midst of escalating tensions with Israel. Following escalating risks from US President Donald Trump, who had just time previously called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender,” Khamenei’s appointment came as a result. Moments later, Khamenei wrote on X:” We must provide a robust response to the criminal Zionist plan. No mercy will be shown to Zionism. The announcement came soon after Iran fired two ballistic rockets at Israel early on Wednesday. In Khmeenei’s content, it appeared as though the attacks were a part of a larger intellectual conflict. According to the Times of Israel, he posted” the war begins” in Farsi alongside an image of a person with a weapon entering a castle wall. Trump had previously stated in a number of posts on his system Truth Social that the US possessed complete control of Egyptian airport and that the country’s best leader was within reach. ” We are aware of where the so-called” Supreme Leader” is lying. He’s a simple target, but he’s safe it; we won’t let him leave (kill! ), so we’re not going to take him there! Trump had written, at least no for the time being. However, we don’t want to shoot missiles at American troops or citizens. Our tolerance is waning. Thank you for paying attention to this issue.” Eventually, he added a article calling for Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” and that the latest barrage of missiles, which erupted around 12:40 am, sounded the alarms across Israel and contained about 15 projectiles. Around 40 minutes later, a second wave of about 10 missiles arrived, causing emails in the West Bank and northern parts of the nation. A blaze broke out in a central Israeli parking lot, causing damage to some cars, despite no injuries reported. According to what officers described as a suspected aircraft penetration, warning lights were likewise activated around the Dead Sea. Iranian residents in District 18 were ordered to leave early on Wednesday morning due to impending military action that would target strategic infrastructure. Shortly after, Israeli forces announced a new influx of attacks in Tehran. Reports also surfaced about explosions in the area of Karaj, which was formerly the site of an Israeli-targeted nuclear spinning facility. Israel launched its military strategy six days previously, calling the assault necessary to end what it termed an “existential danger” brought on by Iran’s nuclear and missile programs. The continuous procedure aims to eliminate leading Iranian military authorities, nuclear researchers, missile launch websites, and uranium enrichment facilities, according to Israeli officials. Currently, there have been numerous casualties in the conflict. Israeli government report at least 224 fatalities in Israeli airstrikes, while Israel claims that Iran has launched over 370 weapons and lots of drones. In Israel, over 500 individuals have been injured and 24 have died so much.
