Chef and broadcast character Anne Burrell passed away at the age of 55. According to a speech from her staff, she passed ahead on Tuesday night at her apartment in Brooklyn, New York. She received her culinary education at the Culinary Institute of America in 1996, and she eventually developed her abilities at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Italy. She enrolled in apprentices there, where she fell in love with Italian cooking customs. She spent her time working in some of the state’s best restaurants, including Savoy in SoHo and Felidia under Lidia Bastianich, which both focused on Mediterranean cuisine. Before moving to tv, she transitioned to teaching at the Institute of Culinary Education in the early 2000s.
