” The people in power do n’t want to be criticized. And in a therefore- called political system, they do n’t like voters to know that they’re crooks and ignorant. Therefore, they censor anyone who propagates a message they do n’t like or who discloses their true feelings. It’s really abuse of power. It always changes”, Carlson said, pointing out that those in authority have often sought to judge their critics.
Democrats in Congress targeted the networking for termination, according to Ball, with the least of which being graphic sexual information. These concerns included questions about the validity of the 2020 vote and the national child Hunter’s laptop, which contained a treasure trove of illegal activities.

They looked at us and said,” Oh my God, these guys are going to stifle the election because we’re spinning the truth to the people.” We’re telling you this computer is true. Well, they did n’t like that very much”, Ball told Tucker, pinpointing where the problems began.
” No. And then of sure, COVID. We’re in the middle of COVID. We busted through the tale of ‘ the veils are n’t working.’ When Joe took over and he told him to get the immunization, he was talking about that spring of death and everything”, he continued. They did n’t like that when we were talking about the irregularities you’d find with the vaccine in terms of side effects and deaths. So it sort of sank down from a Hunter Biden laptop tale to COVID policy. And then we had the 2020 election, okay. And we had individuals on, of course, discussing abnormalities in the vote. They did n’t like any of that”.
” So it started several ways. We were demonetized by YouTube. I mean, every moment we put a narrative about COVID masks, distancing, the computer growth, taken down, 30- time suspension, 60 days, or simply try to kill the entire account”, Ball recalled. Then, suddenly, words started to appear. I’m thinking about 21 or 22 and someone will find a time to correct me if I’m bad. However, I believe I sent your producers a notice that you had. There was a notice from four Democrat lawmakers and two California Congress individuals, Democrats, who sent papers to not only all of the satellite and cable companies, but also to publishers. ” It’s merely a CIA activity to shut down the facts,” Carlson said of Newsguard, a particularly intense censorship organization.

They scared away advertisers, they got us kicked off multiple carriers — Frontier, Verizon, DirectTV, everything because the Democrats sent these letters, “he said, referring to the letters sent by lawmakers to pressure outlets to censor OANN.
Ball was referring to the letters sent by California Reps. Anna Eshoo and Jerry McNerney who pressured , AT&, T, Verizon, Roku, Amazon, Apple, Comcast, Charter, DISH, Cox, Altice, Hulu, and Google parent Alphabet, according to Politico
” What moral or ethical principles ( including those related to journalistic integrity, violence, medical information, and public health ) do you apply in deciding which channels to carry or when to take adverse actions against a channel? ” the Democrats wrote, asking the carriers if they were” planning to continue carrying Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN.”
In a story honoring the decision, pressure paid off and OANN was dropped from carriers in 2022, including Verizon, which the New York Times described as a “death blow” to a “dependable Trump promoter.”
” I think that we’re going to win. I think we’re going to survive. I think that we’re on the right side of history. I believe so, and I am a very religious person and the family. We’re putting it in God’s hands,” Ball said later in the interview.
