
One of the first whistleblowers alleging that Spirit command had ignored manufacturing problems on the 737 MAX was a former excellent accountant at Boeing provider Spirit AeroSystems. He passed away on Tuesday.
Joshua Dean lost his life after a fight with a rapid, quick- spreading infection, the Seattle Times information.
He was 45 years old and apparently in good health before his immediate demise following a two-week hospital battle for his life.
Dean’s involvement in the claims against Boeing is detailed in the Times statement:
Dean had testified in a Spirit shareholder lawsuit and had also lodged a complaint with the Federal Aviation Administration alleging” critical and total wrongdoing by top quality management of the 737 manufacturing line” at Spirit.
In April 2023, Spirit fired Dean because he had complained to the Department of Labor that his dismissal was retribution for raising issues involving aviation safety.
In February, Dean claimed he had been fired to deliver a message to those considering speaking out. He told U.S. store NPR.
” If you are too quiet, we may stillness you”, he was quoted as saying.
According to the Times report, Dean was represented by a law firm in South Carolina that even represented Boeing journalist John” Mitch” Barnett.
The 62- yr- ancient was found deceased in an apparent death in March.

When he was discovered dead from a gunshot wound in Charleston, South Carolina, where Boeing’s 787 manufacturing service had its manufacturing service, he was allegedly preparing subpoenas alleging that Boeing had retaliated against him for concerns about quality issues.
After 32 years of service with Boeing, Barnett left the business in 2017 for ill health factors.
He left the company and began a lengthy legal battle that had been going on up until his demise.
