In a moment of clarity, the Rev. Al Sharpton compared the current extra- Israel protests to the activities of Jan. 6, 2021, and was immediately rebuked on MSNBC’s” Morning Joe”.
The far-left MSNBC host lamented that Democrats were giving up the “moral great ground” by no denouncing the violence and chaos at university campuses as pro-Palestine demonstrations continue to take place.
Sharpton chimed in as present host Joe Scarborough urged Liberals to speak out against the crime.
” The elections of that, what is being robbed by them not doing that, Joe, where you and I agree. How do the Democrats, how do all of us on that area say January 6th was bad if you can have the same photos going on on university campuses, you lose the moral high ground”, he observed.
Al Sharpton on Morning Joe:” How do the Democrats, how do all of us on that part, say January 6 was bad if you can have the same images going on, on school campuses”?

But his real verify triggered co- sponsor Mika Brzezinski.
” Good Lord, do n’t make a parallel to January 6th”, she said before adding,” For some reason that’s not allowed“.
It’s interesting to note that Brzezinski made the same observation just one time later.
” That’s the spot we’ve all been sitting in, watching this, going,’ What the hell is going on? What are these institutions doing? Why are n’t they doing something? ‘ And I’ll sound the despair that this looks like January 6th. What a horrible case for our kids”, she said on” Morning Joe” Tuesday.
Sharpton criticized the students who organized the demonstrations and largely “lost the information” they claimed to have as their reason.
On Thursday’s show, he said,” Anytime what you are protesting for becomes secondary to what you are doing, then you really are n’t protesting for it,” referring to how the anti-Israel protesters have “become the cause.”
” It’s about them, it’s not about pushing the cause. They must reevaluate whether they were honest. Are you really focusing on what’s going on in Gaza, about the children, about the people, about the honest citizens, and in Israel? Are you concentrating on whether or not you are harsh or whether or not you are capable of making the most barbarous statement? How are you guiding this, exactly? It’s about them, and I think that they’ve lost the text”, Sharpton said.
