According to a surveys, the majority of Americans identify former presidents as strong leaders, while the majority of Americans identify as fragile.
The Economist/YouGov surveys published on Wednesday asked respondents to identify Trump and Biden’s leadership qualities.
A majority of adult respondents identify Trump as a strong leader, with 35 % of them describing him as “very powerful.” Trump has gained one point in this regard following a March Economist/YouGov surveys Breitbart News conducted.
The remaining 42 % of respondents describe Trump as a poor leader in various ways, with 32 % saying he is “very weak.”
Conversly, Americans largely say Biden has poor leadership qualities. A strong majority ( 64 percent ) say Biden is a weak leader. Also, 45 percent of all surveys respondents regard Trump as “very weak”.
The survey found that 64 percent of Americans now view Biden as a weak head, a four-point increase over the same period in March, which suggests that Americans are also losing confidence in him.
In the latest surveys, a mere 36 percent of Americans believe Biden to be a powerful chief, with only 14 percent categorizing him as “very powerful” and 22 percent saying he is” somewhat powerful”.
Additionally, the survey indicates that in a hypothetical five-way presidential contest among registered voters, Trump figurally leads Biden nationally. Trump garners 44 percent support, while Biden garners 43 percent.
Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is supported by three percent, while independent Cornel West and Jill Stein of the Green Party are tied at one percent. Another 5 % of voters are unsure, and 2 % wo n’t vote indefinitely.
Trump holds a 7- point advantage over Biden among independents at 41 percent to 34 percent.
The poll, which also found , almost seven in ten Americans think Biden’s America is “out of control”, sampled 1, 755 adults, including 1, 479 registered voters, from April 28 to 30. For both sample sets, there is a 2.9 percentage point difference in error.
