Netanyahu released a statement on X in response to rumors that the International Criminal Court ( ICC ) in Hague, Netherlands was considering issuing warrants against Israeli officials. U.S. officials have said they will try to stop the action if the ICC decides to do so.

The Hague’s international criminal court is considering issuing arrest warrants for top Israeli government and military personnel. This would be an indignation of legendary proportions. Following the Holocaust that was committed against the Hebrew people, international organizations like the ICC emerged. They were sent up to prevent such atrocities, to avoid future pogroms. The international court is currently bringing Israel to justice as we fight back against genocidal jihadists and dictatorships that, of course, aim to completely kill the one and only Jewish state.
Branding Israel’s officials and men as war criminals may put jet fuel on the flames of anti-Semitism, those flames that are already raging on schools of America and across capital around the world. Additionally, it will be the first time a political nation, which is battling for its living according to the law of war, is accused of war crimes.
The Jewish troops, the IDF, is one of the most spiritual forces in the world. It employs unending measures to stop human deaths. methods that no other army ever takes. It does so in the context of a criminal group that uses its own citizens as human shields.
You know the truth. Hamas places its weapons, its jihadists, in hospitals, schools, temples and throughout human areas. They do this to increase civilian casualties and earn resistance. Israel is facilitating a wave of humanitarian aid to Gaza while Hamas ignores the existence of Palestinians and steals civilian-made food. And we make sure the humanitarian needs of the Israeli population are met.
Who is the ICC talking to, and not Israel, who should be applauded for upholding the rules of war in front of an army that defies all laws, including holding 133 Jewish men, women, and kids prisoner? The politics called Israel. And by pursuing Israel, the ICC may be targeting all governments because it would violate their fundamental right to defend themselves from brutal extremism and malicious aggression.
Israel, which is not even under the ICC’s authority, has an independent legitimate system that thoroughly investigates all laws violations, and it is obvious that this threat from the ICC is not an attempt to enforce the law. Instead, this ICC try is an attempt to freeze Israel’s extremely ability to defend itself.
The Israeli government and its citizens categorically reject this serious threat to our security and life. And I want to tell you that no ICC actions will have an impact on Israel’s iron-clad resolve to pursue the objectives of our conflict with Hamas terrorists. We will end Gaza’s defense and governing capacities. We will transfer all of our hostages, and we will make sure that Israel will never be a threat suddenly from Gaza.
Israel anticipates a strong response from the world’s leaders to the ridiculous ICC’s abuse on Israel’s fundamental right to self-defense. We anticipate that they will use every means at their disposal to put an end to this risky course. The Jewish condition calls on good people outside to accept this outrage from the ICC, to walk with Israel as we fight the warriors of Hamas and Iran, and to work toward a more peaceful world eight months after the awful Hamas murder on October 7th, 80 years after the horrors of the Holocaust.
