In a startling picture that was captured in April, over 20 suspected unlawful immigrants docked at a premium southern California bay before jumping fences and fleeing into the area.
A stunned onlooker is captured on video by the OC ( Orange County ) Liberator on Thursday as the suspected invasion is unfolding just feet away on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach.

The bill clarified that the incident took place on April 20— no Thursday, as previously reported.
Nearly two hundred people can be seen jumping out of a white boat, escorting up the port, and climbing over barriers to exit the wharf. There were some people, but most appeared to be people.  ,
The party was spotted scurrying into a dark SUV before speeding off to an undisclosed location after the little boat was carelessly shoved against the dock.  ,
Newport Beach Mayor Will O’Neill wrote on X that” I’m conscious of a video showing a large number of people loading from boats in our Harbor.” ” I’ve been in touch with the O. C. Sheriff’s Department who guards our Harbor to find out how we can accomplish better”.

” That said, I fully agree with O. C. Sheriff Don Barnes’s message from two days ago about how our laws enforcement’s hands getting tied behind their flanks by Sacramento’s ‘ sanctuary status ‘ policies”, O’Neill added.
Judge Barnes, the mayor’s envoy, mentioned information in which he claimed the state of California makes it harder for legislation enforcement to stop sea contraband:

According to a graph posted by Barnes, sea smuggling in California has increased by 140 percent over the past four years, from 308 in 2020 to 736 in 2024.

The group rushing onto the seaside” looked like a military exercising,” a witness who filmed the refugees told KGTV.
