
KYIV: Russia launched an over drone strike on Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Dnipro areas, injuring at least six people and hitting vital infrastructure, commercial and residential properties, local officials said on Saturday.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian forces launched 13 Shahed robots that targeted the country’s east and center. According to the commander of the air power, all the uavs were broken by the air defense units.
Four people were hurt and a fire broke out in an office building in Kharkiv, according to the provincial governor, but debris from the broken drones struck civilian targets in the northeast of Kharkiv, causing the area’s governor to say.
Oleh Synehubov, writing on the Telegram messaging software, said a 13- yr- older child and a woman were being treated in hospital. On the spot, two more people received treatment. Crisis services were bringing the blaze under control, he added.
In the commercial Dnipropetrovsk area, two individuals were wounded, said Serhiy Lysak, the provincial governor. Three houses and a critical system service were reportedly damaged, he claimed.
