After groups opened fire on Sunday just over an hour into the monthly party, Chicago reportedly had to end and travel the Cinco de Mayo parade.
According to The Daily Mail, the Chicago Police Department ( CPD ) responded to the parade that began at 12 p.m. near Cermak Road and Damen Avenue.
Problem began soon after.  , Video showed foe groups along the parade route, flashing evidence from the masses.

Out of” an abundance of precaution,” CPD announced that the long-running festival had been canceled by 1:30 p.m.

According to Chicago police, 25 crew members were detained, some of whom had guns in their possession.
