They also noted that the humanitarian situation is improving and that the north’s stores and areas are filled with various products.
” Noting the improved situation, ]international organizations ] stated last week that the volume of goods transported to northern Gaza must be reduced since the quantities are too high in relation to the population”, wrote COGAT.
According to Israeli official David Mencer, 100 help trucks were regularly entering northeastern Gaza, and he also reiterated that international organizations have stated that there is no danger of famine it.
Mencer claimed that “both in the north and the south are bustling” markets and that Israel was informed that the volume of goods entering northeastern Gaza “must become reduced” because Israel had been informed that” the levels are too high.”
” The problem has never been about getting help into Gaza, but about getting assistance to the citizens in Gaza before it is stolen, and looted, by Hamas”, Mencer said.
Following an unintended Army attack on a caravan of World Central Kitchen vehicles next month that left seven aid workers dead, the Biden administration has confirmed late that aid is flowing into Gaza.
On the grounds that more humanitarian aid needs to be sent into Gaza, the White House has tried to stop an Israeli assault on the last Hamas troops in Rafah and has advocated for a prisoner package.
