Senator John Fetterman (D-PA ) expressed confidence in President Joe Biden’s ability to defeat former president Donald Trump in his home state on Sunday on CBS ‘” Face the Nation.”

Mary Smith: In the state of Pennsylvania, our CBS poll shows it’s going to be a pretty strong presidential race for Joe Biden to get reelected.
FETTERMAN: Correct.
Smith: Our polls show that more people are confident in Trump’s management of the economy than Biden’s, which is especially true when it comes to the oil and gas debate. What worries do you have?
FETTERMAN: I’m certainly- I’m never worried about that. And I want to make it clear: Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, and he will do that once more. But it’s going to be quite tight. Positively. I’ve been calling that- I’ve been having that exact talk since 2016, that it’s going to be extremely aggressive. And presently oil and gas, of course that’s an problem, but it’s not going to become- it’s going to determine the competition and that’s for sure. Clearly, we must choose between those two. And it’s- it’s pretty obvious that it’s- it’s not going to get a determining factor for certain.
