
As the European Union extremely aligns with U.S. worries over cheap goods and national security threats, Chinese President Xi Jinping called on France to help fight off a “new Cold War.”
According to the official Xinhua News Agency, he cited comments made during talks between the two leaders and told French President Emmanuel Macron that the two countries should support reciprocal benefits and work together to stop offer disturbance and dispersion.
In his first journey to the alliance in five years, Xi is currently on a state visit in Paris before making a state visit to Serbia and Hungary. In light of the growing business conflicts, he hopes to persuade Europeans that Beijing offers an economical option.
Ursula von der Leyen, the head of the European Commission, stated after the conference that the E. U. is prepared to use all the means at its disposal to protect its economy if China does n’t provide reasonable access to its industry.
