Separate presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is accusing Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta of election meddling, claiming the social media large censored the picture,  , Who Is Bobby Kennedy? on Facebook and Instagram.
On Saturday, a political action committee ( PAC ) supporting , Kennedy released a short , biographical film about the candidate, narrated by actor Woody Harrelson, but viewers were unable to share the content on Facebook and Instagram, Kennedy’s team said.
Some social media users were informed that the picture was email or that the website had them redirected to a , a destructive site. According to RFK’s plan, some people were informed that the video had “graphic and violent content,” while others received a information from Meta informing them that the content constituted “violent community standards.”

Kennedy’s group added that various social media users just received an error message saying “upload failed”, and that in some cases,” Meta also removed , remarks referring to the removal of their content”.
In a press release, Kennedy said,” We have a republic in name only if followers of all individuals do not have equitable access to the online public sq.” Beyond limiting the right to free speech on problems and ideas, this is true.
The Independent political candidate’s historical movie,” Meta is censoring a big candidate in an election time,” the source continued. ” How can voters make an , informed choice if they are denied basic information about a candidate’s life”?

After Meta’s “tactics attracted unwelcome attention”, the company” changed , strategies” by allowing the video to be uploaded,” but algorithmically suppressing the video, to the point where the video gets zero views even when posted by users with thousands of followers”, Kennedy’s campaign claimed.
The team behind RFK added that “in many cases Meta suspended their accounts for two or six days” as well as users who were unable to post the video.
Now, the , Kennedy Super PAC says it will file a lawsuit against Meta, alleging , the Facebook and Instagram parent company “brazenly” censored its documentary.
Meta , spokesperson Andy Stone denied the allegations, saying , the RFK video “was mistakenly blocked, and it was corrected within a few hours”.
According to Tony Lyons, the founder of American Values Super PAC, the public ca n’t find out what a presidential candidate actually believes or what policies they would support if elected.
” We are left with the propaganda and lies from the most powerful and most corrupt groups and individuals” , , Lyons said. ” This is the hallmark of an oligarchy — not a democracy”.
This is not the first time Meta has censored candidate-related content from the public, which many people refer to as “election interference.”
According to a report from Breitbart News in October 2020, Facebook notoriously cut the distribution of a New York Post article with blatant information that Biden’s son Hunter planned to arrange for him to meet with a board member while he was vice president.
