According to a poll conducted by Suffolk University/USA Today, the majority of voters believe the company information test will result in the faith of former president Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican candidate, on” some fees.”
According to this part of the study, which was made public by the university’s contacted press release, 65 percent of voters “believe Trump may be found innocent” on at least some of the 34 works of misrepresentation of business information that the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has brought forth.

” Exactly half ( 50 % ) predicted Trump would be found guilty on some — but not all — counts, while 15 % said they believed he would be found guilty on all counts”, the release notes. ” Another 23 % said he would likely be found not” guilty.
A majority of voters think Trump wo n’t get a fair trial as well:
More than four in ten voters ( 44 % ) said they do n’t believe the trial so far has been fair, while 39 % said Trump was getting a fair trial, with 16 % of voters left undecided. Trump received a fair trial, according to a party-line bias, with 80 % of Republicans claiming the trial was unfair, and 76 % of Democrats claiming the other way around. Independents were split evenly on the question of fairness at 37 % each, with 24 % undecided.
Importantly, the survey’s interviews started on April 30; that morning, for the first time, was when New York County Judge Juan Merchan found Trump in violation of a gag purchase.
On top of that, Merchan ordered Trump to reduce seven Truth Social content and two of his campaign site on April 30 and a fine of$ 1, 000 per violation. According to Breitbart News, Merchan found the presumed GOP presidential nomination in contempt of court for a tenth offense that occurred before the most recent attempt on Monday.

Merchan stated to the 45th leader that if he would later violate the attempt, he might put him in jail. Breitbart News’s Kristina Wong wrote:
Merchan said on Monday that he would consider sending Trump to jail if he continued to violate a gag order that prohibits him from speaking about judges, witnesses, staff members, other members of the court, Merchan’s family ( including his daughter, who works on digital efforts for Democrats ), and their staff.
” The last thing I want to consider is jail”, Merchan said Monday. ” You are ]the ] former president and possibly the next president”.
The poll, which even showed , Trump and Biden deadlocked at 37 percentage, sampled 1, 000 registered voters from April 30 to May 3, 2024, and the margin of error was ± 3.1 percentage points.
