Say:  , Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton just claimed that if former President Donald Trump is reelected, “all” people had “live in a position where pregnancy” was restricted or banned.
VERDICT: False.
Trump made his position on pregnancy clear in a video that was posted to Truth Social on April 8.
In his film, Trump said the , issue of abortion is” about the will of the people”, adding that people should adopt their hearts, church, or trust when it comes to the problem.
My perspective is now that we have pregnancy where everyone wanted it from a lawful standpoint, the says will ascertain by voting or policy, or possibly both, and whatever they decide, must be the law of the land, in this case, the law of the state.
Many states will have different demographics, many will have different number of weeks, or some will be more conservative than others, and that’s what they will be. In the end, the people’s will is the only thing that matters. You must follow your heart, or in many cases, your religion or your faith.
Despite Trump revealing his stance on abortion, Clinton has previously tried to argue that if Trump is re- elected as president, he will implement abortion bans and restrictions.
The day after Trump released his video, Clinton said,” A good way to gauge what Donald Trump will do regarding abortion rights is to examine what he’s already done.” ” What he’s done is make possible the worst abortion bans in 50 years, and brag about it”.
In June 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, reversing the debate over abortion to state legislators and voters.
While Trump was already out of office at the point when Roe v. Wade was overruled, as president he appointed Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.
States such as Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina have implemented a six- week ban on abortion. Nearly all of the southern states have passed abortion bans, with nine of them almost completely.
In Arizona, Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs recently , repealed an 1864 abortion law that had banned almost all abortions in the state.
Clinton made the claim in a post on X that a map of the United States showed which states had prohibited or restricted abortions, and that “all” women would be able to live in a state with such restrictions or bans under a second Trump presidency.
One in three American women reside in a state where abortion is prohibited, according to Clinton. ” If Trump wins office again, it’ll be all of us”.
