According to her solicitor, a court in Pakistan on Wednesday refused to place her husband’s woman in jail because of security concerns. Instead, the government placed her under house arrest.
Bushra Bibi had challenged the house arrest after being charged with selling state presents improperly, her attorney Naeem Panjutha posted on social media app X. The couple has been detained at Khan’s hill mansion in Islamabad since their January judgment.
Bibi had requested transfer to the prison by requesting an elegance in the Islamabad High Court through her attorneys.
The judge ordered authorities to move her to Adyala prison in the garrison town of Rawalpindi, where Khan, 70, a previous cricket superstar, is serving his 14- year sentence, his party said in a statement.
The group claimed that Bibi had complained about the house’s sub-jail setting where she had been served contaminated foods by the authorities.
The government have denied the claim.
