The chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps ( IRGC), Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, claimed on Tuesday his rogue regime is “broadening the battlefields” against Israel and America to hasten the decline of both countries.
Salami claimed that” all free societies on earth will stop if the enemy manages to penetrate into a Muslim condition, it will continue with others” and that Iran needed the assistance of every Muslim country on earth to do so.
Salami claimed that Iran had “blocked” Israel’s entry to some of the Mediterranean Sea, according to the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency.
” We are broadening the borderlands so that the opponent becomes disintegrated”, he claimed, stating it was important for Muslim nations to assault Israel to” protect our assets and names”.
Information on Salami’s responses did not clearly express what activities, if any, the IRGC was conducting to “broaden the battlefields” into the Mediterranean Sea. The Iran-affiliated” Islamic Resistance in Iraq,” a partnership of Shiite militias supported by Iran, issued a statement on Tuesday claiming to attack Israel in the Mediterranean, despite the IRGC itself never making any fresh operations there. The Popular Mobilization Forces ( PMF), a group of Shiite militias supported by Iran that allegedly led to the formation of the” Islamic Resistance in Iraq” as a branch of the Iraqi military, are widely believed to be members of the popular mobilization force.

The” Islamic Resistance in Iraq” allegedly launched drone strikes against Israeli-held systems in the Mediterranean’s Leviathan oil field on Tuesday, according to PressTV. According to some, the attacks were intended” to aid our people in Gaza.”
The reported” Islamic Resistance in Iraq” cuts, which have mostly been covered in Egyptian media, have not been directly linked to any significant harm.
On May 3, Yemen’s Houthi jihadist movements announced that its combatants may attack the Mediterranean, as well as an Egyptian criminal surrogate. In the past six weeks, the Houthis have reportedly launched a campaign to attack strange commercial ships in the Red Sea to stifle trade with Israel.

Salami was speaking at a gathering to condemn an April 1 strike that killed Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, and several other Egyptian IRGC officials in Damascus. The attack was commonly believed to have been caused by Israel.

The Persian military’s official arm is the IRGC, a criminal organization that has been designated by the United States. A group affiliated with the government, the Egyptian Coalition Council of Islamic Revolution Forces, claimed that Zahedi had a direct involvement in the “planning and murder” of the massive death of an estimated 1,200 people and the violence of 250 people in Israel on October 7. On October 7, Hamas members documented atrocities including the widespread gang rape and executions of victims during gang rapes, as well as the desecration of corpses.

Iran has urged Israel to stop engaging in Rafah activities in large part because Hamas has been largely defeated in Gaza by its ongoing operations there, along with much of the Muslim world. In response to the Hamas atrocities of October 7, which Hamas spokesmen have claimed on the record that Iran played a direct role, the IDF operation in Gaza is a self-defense operation.
