EL PASO, Texas ( Border Report ) – Police in Juarez, Mexico, say a migrant walking toward the Rio Grande was struck and killed by a pickup on Tuesday afternoon.
Witnesses claimed that the person had been struck by a pickup truck on Juan Pablo Segundo Boulevard’s aspect as he crossed the busy highway on foot. According to authorities, a second car unintentionally crossed the body’s fallen body.
By the time doctors arrived on the scene, the victim had died. Along with the Rio Grande, the bridge is a popular drop-off point for cars carrying asylum seekers who want to cross the border and turn themselves over to the U.S. Border Patrol.
Police claimed the dying had identification documents from a non-identifiable foreign land.
