Joel Pollak, a spokesman for the Israeli government, inquired on Wednesday by Breitbart News whether Israel thought Joe Biden’s danger to halt arms shipments complied with the definition of the word” treachery.”
In response to rumors that the Biden management had withheld a sizable delivery of weapons in an effort to stop Israel from attacking Rafah, one of the southern Gaza Strip’s next Hamas regiments, Pollak posed a problem.
The following transfer ensued:
POLLAK (via moderator ): An Israeli analyst argued that the Biden administration is holding Israel hostage and preventing it from defeating Hamas. Do you believe?
HYMAN: Joel, thank you very much for the problem. These reports, which were reportedly coming from unknown sources on the American side, are something I’ve seen clearly. The IDF Chief of Staff’s comments from this day will help me in this regard. I could send you up to the Americans if they, however, have or are making these claims. I personally, as the Jewish state, do not have anything to put on these accounts.
POLLAK (via moderator ): The dictionary defines the word” treachery” as a “violation of allegiance of faith or confidence”. Do you define the holding of arms in war, from an ally, as a form of deceit?
HYMAN: Joel, once, I appreciate that was the same problem, asked in a different way. My attitude is the same as mine.
Later that day, Biden expanded the danger to contain artillery rounds thanks to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s confirmation of the information.
