
Lahore: Responding to critics targeting Pakistan Tehreek- e- Insaf ( PTI ) for planning and executing May 9 protests, the group’s director standard, Omar Ayub Khan, called the event” a plot to pin party founder Imran Khan”, Pakistan- based Geo News reported.
Ayub said that PTI’s one-point plan,” which is the power of the Constitution and law,” is discussed at a conference held on Wednesday.
Imran Khan, the imprisoned PTI founder, warned Pakistanis against compromise in terms of the supremacy of the Constitution and law, according to Omar Ayub Khan. According to him, the Constitution even forbids the armed forces from interfering with political affairs, according to Geo News.
He criticized the best leader of the PTI’s organization’s recent cases being registered. He said that Pakistan’s past National Assembly speech, Asad Qaiser, was booked in an X- star system theft case, while another party leader faced an ancient motorcycle theft case, along with several cases of murder, abduction and terrorism.
Ayub claimed that PTI’s social conflict was being pursued by crossing a sea of fire. He claimed that the” London program” included registering hundreds of cases against the PTI’s top management. Imran Khan claimed that insurrection regulations, including those passed in the” London plan,” kept him from politics for at least ten times.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that “public activities move more quickly when the Constitution is suspended and military regulations are imposed.” He claimed that the Constitution was nearly eliminated in Pakistan, Geo News reported.
Gohar Ali Khan rejected says that the PTI was involved in pro- position theories, as per the Geo News statement. He added that Imran Khan’s group would be most vulnerable to being deceived by such claims. Additionally, he criticized the magistrates ‘ retirement age as being raised.
On May 9, the day after protests erupted following Imran Khan’s incarceration in 2023, PTI announced it would keep peaceful protests throughout the nation, according to Pakistan-based The News International.
Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, PTI chair, reiterated his need for a criminal investigation into the May 9 protests ahead of the celebration of the protests after meeting with PTI leader Imran Khan in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.
He said,” Even today, we are demanding to form a judicial commission]to probe ] the May 9 events”.
PTI did hold rallies all over the country to honor the anniversary of May 9th, according to Gohar Ali Khan. According to the report from The News International, he declared,” We will keep quiet demonstrations on May 9 and the ticket holders will lead them.”
The events of May 9 come at the heels of the 2023 fraud case involving PTI creator Imran Khan’s arrest from the Islamabad higher court.
During the demonstrations, alleged PTI supporters allegedly damaged military installations in different parts of Pakistan, causing harm to public and private qualities.
