despite the glaring absence of another senior royals, Prince Harry received hot help at the Invictus Games celebration services held at St. Paul’s Cathedral. The Duke of Sussex, alone by his wife Meghan who stayed in California with their kids, was obviously pleased to be greeted by his late mother’s sisters, Earl Spencer and Lady Jane Fellowes.
The king was seen smiling and talking to his family during the services, which commemorated a tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games ‘ foundation. The occasion, however, coincided with King Charles hosting the season’s first yard gathering at Buckingham Palace, attended by several other royals but no Prince Harry.
The conflict between the royal family’s engagements was highlighted by continued tensions, especially now that it is reported that Prince Harry and the King had no formal meetings scheduled during Harry’s short visit. A spokeswoman for Harry noted before that the King’s “full program” prevented any possible meet- up.
Prince Harry’s family has consistently supported him, with Lady Jane being formerly invited to meet his brother Archie before Prince William. In addition to their complicated relationships with the rest of the Windsor home, their appearance at the celebration company strengthens their support for Harry.
