But the child’s involvement brought many criticism:
It’s obvious misogyny to champion boys in female ‘ sports.

You do n’t have to be a girl athlete by putting on a bra and tucking your junk back. It makes you a person.

Despite the outcry, the Oregon School Activities Association ( OSAA ) has approved Gallagher’s participation under its rules.
The organization’s policy states that the OSAA works to provide a good and healthy atmosphere for all students while allowing students to participate in the sport or activity program of their regularly asserted gender identity.
Rules like this one promote harmony and fair competition among part schools by upholding equality of registration and increasing the number of students who will have the opportunity to participate in interscholastic actions, according to the plan.
Additionally, the OSAA’s guidelines require that any student who explicitly declares their gender identity to a university system been treated as such.
