At least 16 people were shot, two of them fatally, Friday into Saturday evening in Mayor Brandon Johnson’s ( D) Chicago.
CBS News reported the first of the two dangerous murders occurred shortly before 7: 30 p. m. Friday. A man was shot and later crashed while operating a car in” South Woodlawn Avenue’s 6700 block.” He was taken to a hospice where he passed away.

After an argument ended with a firearm drawn, a second deadly shooting took place on Saturday at 4:30 a.m. The prey was shot in the chest and later declared dead.
Many of the other murders, non- dangerous at the time they occurred, happened via bullets fired from cars, arguments that escalated, and popular attacks.

158 people were killed in Chicago between January 1 and May 11, according to The Chicago Sun-Times.
