In a legal battle against the American government’s censorship of video of a stabbing inside a Sydney religion, Elon Musk’s social media platform X/Twitter won a , court break on Monday.
A provincial judge denied a charge by the eSafety Commissioner, Australia’s online guardian, to extend an order to reduce X/Twitter posts showing a pastor under assault by a blade- wielding aggressor in April, according to a report by CNBC.

Bishop Mari Emmanuel was reportedly delivering a live-streamed speech at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Sydney when a man in black approached the shrine and began to attack the Christian Catholic priest several times, according to Breitbart News.
Video of the church punching was circulated online, raking in hundreds of thousands of opinions, and sparking , a fight between Musk and the American government.
Musk expressed concerns about free speech in a letter to the eSafety Commissioner last month asking for X to delete posts featuring images of the attack.
What is it that we worry about if ANY nation is permitted to censor information for ALL nations, as the American “eSafety Commissar” demands? Musk wrote.
Our problem is that if ANY country is allowed to judge information for ALL countries, which is what the American “eSafety Commissar” is demanding, then what is to prevent any state from controlling the entire Web?

” We have now censored the information in question for Australia, pending legal charm, and it is stored solely on servers in the USA”, the Tesla CEO added.
In an interview last fortnight, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese claimed Musk believes he is “above the law.”
” I do not suppose I’m above the law”, Musk responded. Does the Prime Minister believe that he ought to be in charge of Earth?

In another April meeting, Prime Minister , Albanese said Musk’s unwillingness to go along with what the eSafety Commissioner wants” displays his , ignorance”.
” This is an egotist” , , Albanese added of Musk. ” He is one who’s completely out of touch with the ideals that , American families have”.

” Well, no president, prime minister or prosecutor has power over all of Earth”! Musk responded. ” This program adheres to the rules of states in those countries, but it would be inappropriate to expand one country’s decisions to other countries”.
Well, no president, prime minister or judge has authority over all of Earth!
This platform adheres to the laws of countries in those countries, but it would be improper to extend one country’s rulings to other countries.

” If he want to censor things in other countries, he should bring a legal action to bear in those countries”, the X/Twitter owner added.
