A poster in a neighborhood in northern Jerusalem that previously praised U.S. President Joe Biden for his assistance has been modified to critique Biden for pressuring Israel to stop its involvement in the Gaza war.
In October, shortly after the start of the conflict, Breitbart News reported:
A banner expressing President Joe Biden’s support on Emek Refaim, a street in the heart of the old German Colony and a famous American neighborhood, was the only sight on Friday night. People gathered slowly for the Sabbath food, some walked through the roads, the mother pushing walkers, the fathers carrying rifles slung across their shoulders. Some Hamas jihadists who infiltrated Israel on October 7 had a small point, and they were reportedly able to strike back at any time.
Biden had visited Israel just a few weeks before, the initial U. S. leader to attend Israel during wartime.
But now, Biden is viewed as hostile to Israel, after criticizing Israel’s war energy and withholding vital weapons according to Israel’s operation in Rafah to fight Hamas.
The signal now reads:” Dear President: The cries of our children, women, men, and older who were murdered, slaughtered, and fired dead are calling you from the ashes — no more! Please DON’ T”!
According to National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, there was “more warmth than gentle” in the media’s policy of the conflict between the Biden presidency and the Israeli state.
