Pro-Israel activists in Farmington Hills, Michigan, managed to halt a pro-Israel statement that was scheduled to go before their city government on Monday night.
The decision was one of lots that pro- Arab activists are demanding in towns nationwide, as school “encampments” are removed and the action looks for fresh targets.
Local resident Sue Burstein-Kahn, who spoke on Sunday evening to Breitbart News Sunday on SiriusXM Patriot 125, described the statement as a cipher, a report that some people had seen and that was introduced without any notice.
She sent an email to brother pro-Israel residents on Tuesday that she also sent to Breitbart News:
I am extending a HUGE THANK YOU to all who wrote messages, letters, and attended previous evening’s Farmington Hills City Council meeting. Your work were undoubtedly unsuccessful, and the Proclamation was defeated in vain.
The Proclamation was proposed as an act, but ( from what I heard ) just Mayor Theresa Rich wanted it to stay on the plan, and she voted Little on it.
Thank you to our committee members who understood that this statement would have seriously harmed our neighborhood. I am so glad of the power you exhibited.
If this subject was to be brought up, it should be as a solution so that it could be discussed, debated, and voted on …
One Council part noted that they received nearly 200 letters, and 95 % were against the statement.
However, the pro-Palestine force was present in full power, chanting and kicking their feet in the hallway just outside the council chambers, which made it difficult to do business. They even hung Palestinian/Hamas colors from the stairs of our City Hall. I’d like to congratulate the governor on sticking to the council chambers ‘ etiquette.
The work continues, independently, nationwide. On Tuesday, pro- Arab protesters descended on City Hall in Santa Monica, California, to rear a quality calling for a peace in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. At a rally outside advance, the protesters decried what they called Israel’s “genocide” in Gaza.
There was little mention of the Hamas-held hostages held by Israelis in Gaza or the Hamas-initiated evil assault on October 7 that sparked the ongoing conflict.
