In an attempt to misconduct the Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia, which is located 36 miles outside of Washington, DC, two foreign citizens allegedly posed as Google employees.
According to officials from the Quantico Marine Corps Base, the two men apparently drove a “box vehicle” up to the camp’s main doorway and informed the guards that they were making a distribution to the post company in the city of Quantico, which is located on the base.
After the soldiers realized the gentlemen “had no affiliation with the center” and when they did not provide the soldiers with “any approved access qualifications,” military police officers advised the men to walk over to a holding place.
A military police officer became aware that the driver had broken the soldiers ‘ orders and had to proceed to a holding area before trying to drive past the holding area and onto the foundation, Capt. Michael Curtis, a spokeswoman for the basic told the outlet.
One of the military police officers pointed the finger at the vehicle and attempted to enter Quantico, according to Curtis, who reacted by following the officers ‘ orders and continued to drive the car past the holding place.
After realizing the pilot had ignored their guidance, military police officials used “vehicle neglect restrictions, or barriers”, which are used to keep cars out of the bottom.
The men were detained and turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE ) after being prevented from gaining additional access to the base, according to Curtis.

According to multiple sources, one of the people in the truck is a Jordanian foreign national who recently crossed the southern border into the United States, and one of the occupants is listed as being on the U.S. terrorist watch list. Quantico did not confirm this information.

Curtis explained in a statement to the Marine Corps Times , that” when any vehicle” does not comply with the direction of military policers, the officers take” specific steps” to restrict access to the base.
” Those actions by our on-duty Police officers helped ensure the safety and security of everyone who lives and works on Marine Corps Base Quantico,” Curtis continued.
Data from the Department of Homeland Security ( DHS) showed that between February 2021 and January 2024, 7.2. million migrants have arrived at the U. S. Mexico southern border.
Nearly 100 Syrian nationals and 50 Iranian nationals were apprehended at the southern border in October 2023, according to a source with the Customs and Border Protection agency. This caused alarms because the United States had conducted airstrikes on Iranian-linked sites in Syria at this time.
Officials in Mexico confirmed in December 2023 that they had detained five Middle Eastern nationals who were attempting to enter the country. Out of the five people who were apprehended, two were reportedly on the FBI’s watchlist.
