Actress Lori Beth Denberg is accusing Nickelodeon manufacturer and author Dan Schneider of fondling her chest and showing her video when she was a member of the poplar’s set All That as a teenager.
Schneider apologized if he made Denberg uncomfortable, but he also claims that some of her claims are untrue and that he ca n’t accept responsibility for what he did wrong.
Denberg joined the present when she was 18 and participated in its first four times, which ran from 1994 to 1998.
The now-48-year-old claims that Schneider tried to approach her when a businesswoman informed her that she was big when she first heard of her. Denberg told Business Insider,” I feel like that is the first day he preyed on me.”
She continued, claiming that Schneider attempted to persuade her to accept his advances by using that anger. Shortly after he began to try to get her into mobile gender and expose her to porn, she claimed.
Denberg claimed that Schneider when pushed a firearm at her while she was a customer in his car, that one of the movie movies he showed her featured a lady giving oral gender to a donkey, and that he occasionally yelled at her.
Schneider, though, calls Denberg’s says “wildly inflated and, in most cases, fake”. After filing a libel lawsuit against the suppliers of the exposé line, Quiet on the Set, which attempted to document child actor abuse at Nickelodeon, he also claimed that Denberg was trying to make him look bad.
The executive producer of” Queet on Set” is more than just coincidence, according to Schneider in a statement.
” As I have previously stated, there were times, particularly in the early years of my career, that I made mistakes and exhibited bad view as a leader. If I apologized to Lori Beth if I did that, I honestly regret. But I don’t forgive for things I did not perform”, he explained.
Denberg also claimed that Schneider’s connection with her allegedly dated to sexuality when she was 19 and that they had been involved in video. She claims Schneider even abused him while they were dating. However, she claims that at the time she did never feel their marriage was incorrect.
Denberg then contends that Schneider harmed her. ” I could n’t have been more green. I could n’t have been more vulnerable”, she said of her early days in the entertainment industry.”
Schneider was fired by Nickelodeon in 2018 after an internal investigation revealed that he had been “abusive” toward young players. However, the research did not uncover any sexual abuse allegations at the time.
