A prominent scientific record sponsored by the American government that is very important of transgender medical statements is being rejected by the U.S. medical establishment, according to the New York Times.
Because the much-lauded Cass Report found very little scientific proof that gender dysphoria can be treated effectively through transgender surgery or therapies, Britain’s health system put the brakes on trans procedures performed on adolescents.
However, the U.S. medical creation ignores the comprehensive report and is supporting the transgender movement with a double standard.
The government quickly adopted the report sponsored by the United Kingdom’s government-run National Health Service ( NHS), which revealed that there is little evidence that transgender people can safely use arbitrary puberty-blocking drugs and medical treatments without discrimination over the long term.
The report, led by Dr. Hillary Cass, former head of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, incorporated a systematic review of the transsexuality research conducted over the course of four years. But Cass and her experts also met with thousands of young patients and their families, people who had transitioned, lobbying groups, hospitals, doctors, and even those who eventually realized transgendering was a bad idea and had detransitioned.
It is the most thorough transsexuals review ever conducted. The main finding, according to the New York Times, was that the data supporting the use of puberty-blockers and other physiological medicines in children is “remarkably weak.” Thus, the U. K.’s NHS has stopped approving these solutions outside of clinical studies. The NHS is likewise pulling away from testosterone treatments.
The U. K. is not the first state to move away from transsexuality, either. Over the last year, the U. K. joined , Denmark, Finland, Sweden, France, all of which have begun pulling away from the “affirmation” type of care wherein all a doctor needs to continue is a victim’s reported needs to do so.
The U.S. medical establishment appears to have refused to even consider the lack of information that transgendering kids is a good way to treat gender anxiety in minors despite the movement away from extreme transsexuals in Europe. In fact, when the Times spoke with the American Academy of Pediatrics ( AAP ), they blew off the Cass report and vowed to support their radical transgenderism, claiming that their approach is “grounded in evidence and science” in direct opposition to all these studies and decisions by European medical institutions. However, the AAP did mention that it was conducting independent research on the subject.
The Endocrine Society’s statement to the Times was even more clear, stating that” we stand strong in our aid of gender-affirming care,” which they claim is “needed and frequently lifesaving.”
The Times learned, however, that no one with a presence in the United States has contacted her and her study group to discuss her final report in its meeting with Dr. Cass. It almost seems as though the medical establishment in the United States does not want to notice any information that would be against the radical transgender hall.
Cass blasted the AAP, calling them a “left- leaning business” and accusing it of “misleading the people” on transsexuals.
Cass continued,” What some companies are doing is doubling down on saying the evidence is nice, and she respects the AAP but disagrees with their stance on the matter.” And I think that’s where you’re misleading the public. You must be open to the breadth of the information and disclose what you will do to make it better.
She continued,” I suspect that the AAP, which is a relatively left-leaning organization and a large good for children worldwide, is hesitant to take any actions that might put a strain on transgender health care at the moment. And I wonder if they would be more complex if they were n’t feeling under for political pressure, saying that there are many beliefs in this area, including that some babies will need medical attention, and that others will find ways to help them deal with their problems.
Cass added that “political” healthcare should never be practiced.
It should be based on” shared decision-making with people and listening to patient accents,” according to the statement. Once it becomes political, then that’s really concerning, as you know well from the pregnancy position in the United States”, she said.
It should be noted that the Cass review does not completely tarnish transgender medical treatments. It just draws attention to the fact that there is very little proof that requiring children to undergo such procedures is long-term beneficial and recommended for younger patients into their adult lives.
Healthcare journalist Lisa Selin Davis recently posted an change to X from Johns Hopkins that revealed that a study commissioned by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health found little to no information about the long-term effects of transgendering on children and adolescents.
Oh my goodness, an message from the head of a Johns Hopkins group that @wpath commissioned for a comprehensive overview of youth gender treatments. She says WPATH would n’t let them publish the review and that” there is little/no evidence about children and adolescents”. photograph. twitter.com/hhg1Q1OBiX

Additionally, Davis noted that WPATH was working to halt the review in an extract from the emails that were posted. Maybe because it does not provide a comprehensive support for transgender children.
