Netflix announced on Wednesday that it had reached an agreement with the NFL to broadcast two games this Christmas.
According to the New York Post, the three-year package even includes at least one activity for Christmas Day in 2025 and 2026.
The largest streaming services in the country has freedom to the NFL for the first time thanks to the agreement.
Bela Bajaria, the head of Netflix content, applauded the agreement and stated in a statement that” there are no life annual events, either sporting or otherwise, that compare to the people NFL football attracts.”
According to Bloomberg, Netflix will spend the NFL an outstanding$ 150 million to watch each activity.
In January, Netflix inked , a$ 5 billion deal to pick up WWE’s Raw, which will begin its streaming in January of next year.
A line on track and field athletes is also scheduled to be broadcast on Netflix ahead of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Formula One, golfing, and rugby have already been covered by The Sports Streamer.
Not just Netflix is the only streaming service that fights for NFL freedom.
The Post continued,” Apple TV + visitors Friday Night Baseball and Major League Soccer and Amazon Prime does so.”
