Taxpayers are turning on the public funding of National Public Radio ( NPR ), according to the latest Daily Mail.com/TIPP survey.
The survey asked respondents,” Would you agree or disagree: NPR does drop taxpayer funding due to its political partiality”?
Across the board, 44 percentage agree that NPR may reduce its funding, compared to 26 percent who disagree. Another 31 percentage remain confused:
WINNING: With voters supporting the eradication of taxpayer funding by an 18-point margin, we have completely transformed public opinion toward NPR. If liberals win in the fall, we will remove NPR of$ 100 million in annual incentives. photograph. twitter.com/ UnwGjQmcoL

He claimed in the content that the newsroom’s Washington, DC office has 87 registered Democrats in editor positions but that there are no Republicans in the same positions. He made this claim despite leaning left himself.
As Breitbart News reported:
He explained that “[P]olitics were blotting out the interest and freedom that ought to have been driving our work. His concerns were finally addressed when he disclosed to control in 2021 that the community had a partiality problem and that NPR, which presents its information stories as objective.
Finally, he was suspended without pay from NPR, and he offered his departure letter in April.
Berliner posted at the time,” I am resigning from NPR, a fantastic British organisation where I have worked for 25 years.”
He continued,” I respect the dignity of my coworkers and hope for NPR to grow and to do significant journalism,” adding that he” cannot operate in a newspaper where I am disparaged by a fresh Director whose controversial opinions confirm the very issues at NPR I cite in my Free Press essay.”

Sen. Marsha Blackburn ( R- TN) is among those pushing to defund NPR, backing former President Donald Trump’s own sentiments toward the organization.
” The mainstream media has become obsessed with doing the Left’s bidding and taking down strong conservatives— and NPR has led the pack”, Blackburn , told , Fox News.
It makes no sense for the American people to support a left-wing propagandist outlet that does n’t want to hear the opinions of the majority of the population. NPR should not receive our tax dollars”, she added.
Trump also pleaded for” NO MORE FUNDING FOR NPR,” calling it an “absolute SCAM”!
“EDITOR SAID THEY HAVE NO REPUBLICANS, AND IS ONLY USED TO ‘ DAMAGE TRUMP,'” Trump , wrote , in April. ” THEY ARE A LIBERAL DISINFORMATION MACHINE. NOT ONE DOLLAR!! “!
