The “floating pier” built by the U. S. Navy off the coast of Gaza was completed on Thursday, and connected to the shore by Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) troops.
In his State of the Union address in March, President Joe Biden made the announcement that the slot would expand land routes to provide humanitarian assistance to Gaza. The United States relies on the Army to offer inland security for the port, as promised by him that there would be no “boots on the ground” from the United States.

The interface may be finished and put in place within a day, according to a report from NBC on Wednesday. U.S. Central Command confirmed that there were no U.S. soldiers stationed in Gaza, but it did not specify whether they had been in Israel.
IDF forces coordinated with the U. S. martial as the wharf was connected.
The IDF issued a speech:
The Gaza Strip’s floating pier’s relation was properly completed. The Army and the Ministry of Defense have made considerable preparation for the piercing in recent months.  ,
The Ministry of Defense, the IDF, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories [COGAT], and the United States Military all worked together over the past few weeks to prepare for the preparation.
Through Funders, the IDF is working with the U.S. Central Command to set up a floating jetty for charitable aid in the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, the IDF established fresh land crossing points between Judea and Samaria ( the West Bank ) and Gaza for humanitarian help:
The IDF is working with the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories ( COGAT ) to move hundreds of humanitarian aid trucks containing food, water, medical supplies, and shelter supplies to the residents of Gaza this week. Accordingly, today ( Thursday ), 365 humanitarian aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom Crossing operated by the Ministry of Defense’s Land Crossings Authority, as well as the Erez Crossing, following thorough security checks.
For the World Food Program ( WFP ) organization, which has a bakery in the Gaza Strip, about 38 trucks of flour and 76, 000 liters of fuel were moved throughout the day for the organization’s bakery, which is located throughout the Gaza Strip. In addition, now, 17 Jordanian vehicles containing humanitarian assistance were transferred to the Gaza Strip as part of the thousands of cars that were transferred. As part of ideas for the human population to partially evacuate from the Rafah location to the charitable areas, lots of houses purchased by the State of Israel and intended for the Humanitarian Area in Al-Mawasi were brought in via the Kerem Shalom Crossing on Sunday.
Additionally, on Monday this year, the Tarqumiyah and Beitunia crossings in Judea and Samaria were opened for the first time since the start of the war in order to increase the routes of humanitarian assistance trucks passing to the Gaza Strip in order to increase the rate of observation of assistance, in accordance with the government of Israel’s law and in coordination with the U.S. administration.
In accordance with international law, the IDF will continue to work to help humanitarian aid to activate the Gaza Strip by land, air, and water.
Right-wing activists in Israel have recently attacked some help fleets passing through Judea and Samaria in recent months. They object to providing help to Gaza, especially given that there are still 133 Jewish hostages who may not get any of the help. Some people also think Hamas is simply helped, which adds to the conflict’s length. The White House has condemned the demonstrations.
