There was a spectacular moment when Trump attorney Todd Blanche forced Cohen to say that he was not certain of the facts of an alleged conversation that took place on October 26, 2016, during which Trump allegedly green-lit a quiet funds deal with adult actress Stormy Daniels.
Prosecutors had earlier said Cohen had called Trump’s companion, Keith Schiller, and had the phone passed to Trump to explain the offer.
However, in a heated change, Blanche said to Cohen, according to the review,” That. Was. A. Exist! …. You acknowledge that you did not speak with President Trump that evening.
Cohen responded,” No, sir, I ca n’t. Because I’m not sure that’s appropriate”.
