Maryland Gov. On Thursday, Wes Moore ( D) signed legislation to establish a state-level gun control center in a manner akin to the Biden Administration’s creation of the federal office of gun violence prevention.
At a filing service, Moore praised the establishment of the gun control center, saying,” Maryland became the first state in the country to actually respond to President Biden’s call.
Democrats praised the center as a means of “fostering a provincial collaboration with national and regional agencies to decrease gun violence.”
Moore signed two other gun control bills Thursday, WMDT noted, one of which was  , House Bill 947, which is intended to “hold poor stars in the rifle business accountable”.
House Bill 810, which prohibits devices that Democrats refer to as” Glock switches,” is the other gun control legislation.
According to Breitbart News  on March 19, the Democrat-run Chicago and Mike Bloomberg-affiliated Everytown for Gun Safety filed a lawsuit against the Glock handgun manufacturer over the widespread use of” Glock switches.” The report noted that Although blatant China is one of the sources for “auto sears” — the key component of a” Glock switch,” the pair did not explain the degree to which China is allegedly committed to saturating the United States with such switches
On February 26, Breitbart News reported that Peter Schweizer revealed in , Body Income: Why the Strong Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans , that Chinese companies, which are heavily regulated by the Chinese government, are flooding the United States with auto sear switches, little metal devices also known as” Glock switches”, that can change firearms into machine guns. They are illegal for most gun owners in the United States, but are being shipped in boxes by the” thousands” from China.
