Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA ) and Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX ) are in a relationship, according to Rep. Van Duyne and others who have accused him of infidelity. The Georgia lawmaker filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years on Friday.
Van Duyne said that McCormick and his quickly- to- be ex- family, Dr. Debra Miller, are both “incredible people”, and his relationship has been over for “quite some moment”.
She said,” His marriage has been over for quite some time, as I understand it. He’s filed for divorce”.
” I’m one. We are both kids of unmarried adults. We are gladly engaged in a marriage and, beyond that, it’s a personal issue”, the Texas Republican added.
Van Duyne has two kids with her ex- father, Chris Wallach, her school sweetheart from their day at Cornell University.
On Thursday, Miller claimed that McCormick had infected him, according to The Daily Mail. She claimed that if the marriage involved a relationship between the senator and another lawmaker, the Daily Mail may inquire about it.

Congressman McCormick and Dr. Miller have been separated for a while, according to a McCormick spokesman in a speech. He has kept that secret and will continue to do so in the absence of the internet.
Last November, McCormick was the lead author of a censure resolution of Rep. Rashida Tlaib ( D- MI ) after she allegedly promoted “false narratives” about the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA ), who had introduced a similar censure resolution, had accused McCormick of being physically aggressive with her.
Greene  claimed McCormick “grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her” and asked the speaker to address the situation in a private meeting with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA ).
