In order to construct a compound, the United Arab Emirates ( UAE ) purchased 18 acres of land along the Potomac River in northern Virginia for$ 55 million.
Three adjacent lots, 1019, 1049, and 1079, located in McLean were purchased by the UAE government in 2022, according to a report from the Washington Business Journal ( WBJ). Now, there are no houses on the area besides an outbuilding.
The qualities were bought from a faith linked to Richard L. Adams Jr., the leader of UUNet Technologies, a business internet service provider.

The political residence at 1019 had reportedly become the largest and have” two wings,” while the political residence at 1049 may be about 23 947 flat feet and would accommodate between 13 and 17 rooms. The political property located at 1079 would be the smallest, according to the papers filed.
According to the documents, an “arrival court” may join all three properties, and the properties would become encircled by a vehicle path.

This comes as the UAE previously purchased land on Crest Lane in 2006 for$ 11 million, according to the outlet.
