Former President Donald Trump believes he can win Virginia, State Sen. John McGuire ( R- VA ), who is running for Rep. Bob Good’s ( R- VA ) congressional seat, said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday, noting that Trump is the” soul of the Republican Party”.

McGuire said he just spoke to Trump, when in Mar- a- Lago, and said the original president expressed confidence that” we’re going to get Virginia”.
” And I think there’s a lot of enthusiasm for Trump in Virginia as I promotion all over the Fifth Congressional District and all over Virginia, and I believe he’s gained help, you know, all over the place where he never had it before”, McGuire said, pointing to Trump’s rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, as a perfect example.
” And a great instance… he set a record for a political protest in New Jersey, with over 100, 000 people. So I’m excited for Trump to win Virginia and win — get back in the White House, and we certainly ca n’t survive four more years of Biden’s America last policies, just crushing people all over the country”, he said, explaining that” we’re fighting for the soul of the Republican Party”.
He claimed that” President Trump is the heart of the Republican Party” and that he had no idea where politics were going until Trump” came down the escalator.”

And when I listened to what he said, I said the speaker clearly understood what he said. I wrote a test to him for the first time. I wrote my$ 1, 000 check. And I’ve been with him ever since he came down the escalator”, he continued, noting that both he and Trump have “built a partnership across the whole position of Virginia”.
” President Trump has created a sizable partnership among all political parties.” And that’s what we need, and I believe there will be win in some places for those fluffy people in the middle, or politicians, who I believe will make a big comeback against us. I think they’re already doing it. And here’s the cause why”, he said, explaining that President Biden’s plans are the “best advertising” for why America needs Trump again.
But consider the small producers who barely make it and live paycheck to paycheck. Gas is off. Food is away. Milk is off. Simply put, it’s harder to pay your bills and to thrive. Biden’s America’s last policies are the best way to promote Trump’s victory, and we ca n’t wait for four more years. So I’m hearing that all around the city. I’m hearing people that did not — had always supported Trump saying they’re then supporting Trump, especially minority”, he said, concluding that Virginia “is in play”.
