Alice Stewart, 58, a Democrat political adviser and CNN political commentator, passed away on Saturday.
Authorities informed CNN  that Stewart had been discovered outside a northern Virginian location, and they confirmed her death.
” Alice was a really dear friend and colleague to all of us at CNN”, Mark Thompson, the CEO of CNN, wrote in an email to people of the news channel. ” A social veteran and an Emmy Award-winning journalist who sparked an unrelenting kindness among our departments, known not only for her political shrewd, but also for her unwavering compassion. Our souls are big as we grieve for a terrible loss.
Stewart revealed her education in broadcast journalism and social knowledge in an appointment with the Harvard Internation Review. After graduating, she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, and later accepted a position as the contacts director for the then-Gov. of Arkansas. She worked as a writer and producer in Savannah. Also, Stewart has served as the contacts director for Rep. Michele Bachmann ( R- MN) when she ran for president in 2012. Stewart also worked on former Sen. Rick Santorum’s ( R- PA ) 2012 presidential battle
When Sen. Ted Cruz ( R- Texas ) launched a national campaign in 2016, Stewart also served on his promotion.
” Heartbreaking. Alice was beautiful, accomplished, and a dear friend, Cruz said in a post on X. ” And she loved America strongly. She lived every day to the fullest, and she will be greatly missed. May God’s peace and comfort been felt by her close friends. RIP”.
Law enforcement officials informed CNN that Stewart’s death was the result of a medical crisis rather than bad play.
