After President Donald Trump revoked his executive order against the ICC, President Joe Biden claimed on Monday that he was outraged over the International Criminal Court ( ICC ) warrants against Israeli officials for the war against the Palestinians.
Biden responded to the report on Monday that the ICC was looking into permits for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and three Hamas criminal leaders.
In a speech, Biden said:
The ICC attorney’s program for arrest warrants against Zionist leaders is ridiculous.  , And let me be clear: whatever this counsel may imply, there is no similarity — few — between Israel and Hamas.  ,  , We will always have with Israel against challenges to its safety.
But, in April 2021, Biden properly gave permit to the ICC to seek Israeli — and American — soldiers and leaders over alleged “war crimes” in the fight against extreme Islamist terrorists.
According to a report from Breitbart News on April 20, 2019, Trump revoked an executive order from June 2020 that placed restrictions on the ICC for attempting to evaluate American and allies who were not members of the ICC.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken acknowledged the ICC’s anti-American and anti-Israel discrimination in a speech released at the time. But he professed desire in “engagement with all partners” and” a wide range of measures” at the ICC.
Those changes failed to materialize.
Amal Clooney, the woman of Hollywood superstar George Clooney, was one of the lawyers who spoke during the ICC arrest warrants.
The Clooneys are set to sponsor a” superstar- studded LA charity” for Trump next month.
