An improper alien, released into the United States, is accused of murdering 19- yr- old Adam Luker in a drunken driving crash in Mobile County, Alabama.
Antonio Antonio Rodas, a 29- yr- ancient illegal alien, was arrested on May 8 and charged with murdering Luker.
When he ran through a dark light and crashed into Luker, who had the natural light and was turning at the crossroads, Rodas claimed to be three days the constitutional limit and was going 88 miles at the time.
More than a week after the accident, on May 6, Luker died from his injuries. A GoFundMe website has been created to help Luker’s home. Luker graduated from , Mary G. Montgomery High School in May 2023.
According to investigators, Rodas’s car was filled with opened beer containers and had a strong liquor smell at the picture of the collision. Rodas attempted to flee the United States to South America, but he was stopped and taken into Mobile County prison before being apprehended by officers.
According to a detailed report from Brendan Kirby of FOX10 News, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE ) agency had a close relationship with Rodas prior to the crash that resulted in Luker’s death.
An ICE national confirmed to FOX10 News that Rodas first crossed the U. S. Mexico frontier near Hidalgo, Texas, in December 2018. Rodas was later released into the U.S. interior, where he resettled in Mobile County, after receiving a Notice to Appear (NTA ) in immigration court or being detained.
Rodas was detained and charged with driving while intoxicated in Mobile County in 2021. Rodas, in this case, was driving intoxicated and driving into a power pole.
Due to a plan that the president’s leadership instituted that does not allow prosecutions for driving while under the influence as grounds for imprisonment, ICE officers were aware of Rodas ‘ incarceration but did not take him into prison.
According to Center for Immigration Studies Director of Policy Jessica Vaughan,” Most people would view that kind of a DUI as something serious that’s a threat to public safety,” but under the Biden-Mayorkas priorities, he would n’t have been someone ICE would have been permitted to go after at that time,” according to Vaughan.
Rodas admitted guilt to the drunken driving charge in 2022, and he received a 180-day jail sentence and court-ordered supervision once he was released on probation. Rodas eventually gave up following the court-ordered care guidelines and did not adhere to any of the terms of his release once he was finished serving his prison sentence.
According to Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood, Rodas ‘ supervision was not requested by the organization in charge of the temporary control, according to Blackwood to FOX10 News.
The federal government may have deported Rodas, according to a lawyer for Luker’s home, before their loved one lost his life.
” If that had been the case, then this would have previously happened”, their attorney said. ” You know, the federal government has access to all of the, you know, details about detention and that kind of thing”.
The Angel Family of 20-year-old Kayla Hamilton is suing the federal government for$ 100 million for the release of an illegal alien MS-13 Gang member who is accused of brutally murdering and raping the young woman in a separate case in Maryland.
