In response to a viral letter from a Michigan school executive outlaw staffers from using the terms “boy” and “girl,” the Trump-endorsed Michigan Senate candidate Mike Rogers ( R ) wrote to Breitbart News that the last thing Americans needed was more indoctrination in schools “at the expense of teaching the basics.”
Over half of our high school graduates are unable to study at the 12th grade levels, and far too many children are being set up for failure, according to Rogers, who noted that the woke nonsense is occurring at the price of British youngsters who lean the basics.
” With this amount of problems, the last thing we need is further education in our schools at the charge of teaching the fundamentals of reading, writing, and math”, Rogers added.
His speech comes after Kara Davis, the executive producer of teaching and learning for Saline Schools in Saline, Michigan, published a widely circulated text. In the email, Davis— who is described as a “passionate person and teacher” — decided that it is no longer suitable for staff to recommend to students as “boys” and “girls”, because it is alienating, despite the fact that, medically, every student is, in fact, a boy or a girl.

She wrote in part, explaining that she wanted to “ensure we are n’t replicating harmful practices on students of today to model what happened historically,” and that she is “appreciative of the feedback that the docents and/or school masters are using binary/gendered language (‘boy ‘/’girl’ ) to orient students in Weber Blaess activities. She gives the impression that it is “harmful” to speak to a scholar as both a boy or a girl.
Otherwise, docents and schoolmasters may use different terms for as” children,”” students, “or” visitors.”
She continues:
She suggested that if students were divided into groups, examples of how to do so without harming transgender and nonbinary individuals would be” individuals with birthday from January to June on the right and kids with birthday from July to August on the left.”

Rogers ‘ statement to Breitbart News regarding this subject comes several weeks after telling Breitbart News Daily that there is a significant change in Michigan’s political landscape and that Democrats should be concerned about losing the state.
