Paramount is prepared to dry-hump but another Star Trek brand onto the big screen, eight times after Star Trek Beyond‘s disastrous run.
This most recent discharge is anticipated to be released in 2025.
Longtime , X- Men , producer , Simon Kinberg , is … in speaks to produce a new , Star Trek , have for , Paramount Pictures [. ] If everything goes well, he could start taking energetic, creative roles in the film and television segments of the legendary franchise.
…
The initiative Kinberg did enter is already in full swings of development. Toby Haynes, who directed episodes … of the , Star Wars , series , Andor, is on panel to clear the fresh element, with Seth Grahame- Smith writing the script. According to reports, the project is set centuries before the activities of the 2009 film, which was directed by J. J. Abrams, and is good in the modern era. It is said to include the initial encounters with alien life and the design of the Starfleet.
Was n’t that movie called Star Trek: First Contact?
Curiously enough, this does not imply Paramount is giving up on its existing company. Even though Star Trek Beyond did a creative and successful box office blitz, there is still a chance to wrap up the series with a third film starring Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, and Zachary Quinto.
Who’s asking for that?
And does America actually desire a fifth Star Trek film in almost as many years? The issue with attempts to reset this series is that neither of the early actors can compare to the legends who made up the original throw. William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, and the rest looked like persons who should be on the big screen — they are film stars. Patrick Stewart was in the Next Generation, but the rest of the solid appeared to be Television stars. Chris Pine’s audience always appeared to be mature. They consistently gave the impression of young people performing play-acting.
In yesterday’s woke, anti- male, mixed globe, it is hard to see this cast problem improving with a third franchise. You only know it’s going to be total of drag queens, bisexuals, transvestites, and queer things. Star Trek has always been at the cutting edge of politics, so the justification for this ugly nonsense will be that. Yeah, in the sixties, when the cutting edge was reasonable, when the cutting edge was about professionalism, similar opportunity, never being offended over words, personal liberty, the importance of every animal life, and a masculine, ahead- looking foreign policy based on peace through strength.
If the original Star Trek were released today exactly as is, it would almost certainly be a big hit among Normal People but excoriated by our self- elected elites as racist, sexist, colonialist, homophobic, and bigoted against body types ( i. e., fat people who look terrible in a Starfleet uniform ).
Why would anyone care about this garbage when Blu-ray of the six films that came after the original Star Trek series is available?
In 2023, I went back and watched Star Trek ( 2009 ), Star Trek: Into Darkness ( 2013 ), and Star Trek Beyond ( 2016 ), and they’re just not very good movies. All mankind has been lost and replaced with grab-ass invasion. Any day of the week, I’ll accept Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, which is badly derided and about its hunt for God and what it means to be human.
Star Trek long lost me in favor of Gay Sulu and Stacey Abrams, the Earth’s chairman, who denies election.
” New” used to mean new. It then refers to incoming nonsense.
