
The state government claimed that at least nine people died and many others were hurt at a “gust of wind” that caused the stage collapse at a political rally in northeastern Mexico on Wednesday evening.
Jorge Alvarez Maynez, a political candidate for his party in Nuevo Leon, managed to escape harm while fighting for his group Citizens Movement in Nuevo Leon.
In a blog on X, Maynez after said,” After the incident in San Pedro Garza, where a gust of wind collapsed the stage where we were, I moved to the San José hospital”.
” I’m great and in touch with the state government to make a follow-up,” I said. The only thing left to care for the accident victims is what he said, he continued.
The injured have been taken to the hospital.
