The social media employee for the City of Kansas City who mocked Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker after he delivered a speech at the university defending Christian beliefs has been fired.
News of the company’s fire came from none other than Kansas City’s Mayor Quinton Lucas, who told viewers on KCMO television that the doxer had been” separated” from the town labor.

The individual posted outside the range of authorized City communications and was fired from the City labor in contravention of City policy. The president said that the City would not remark on the blog or any of its people.
In a commencement address to Benedictine College graduates earlier this month, Butker criticized President Biden’s pro-choice policies, criticized Pride Month, urged males to accept manhood, and told women that parenting would inevitably mean more than their careers.

The staff was apparently pushed over the edge by this.
In a after- deleted article, the social media employee wrote:  ,” Really a warning that Harrison Butker lives in the City of Lee’s Summit”.
The city accounts, @KansasCity, posted a badly worded explanation.
We make amends for the past message. It was shared in failure.

In the immediate aftermath of the social media posts, Mayor Lucas wrote,  ,” The message was evidently unsuitable for a public profile. The City has sincerely apologised for the error and will review account access to make sure nothing like it is shared in the future from public channels.
A message came out earlier this evening from a City public account.
The message was undoubtedly inappropriate for a public account. The City has sincerely apologised for the error, will look into account access, and will make sure no similar content is shared with public channels in the future.
