A personalized invitation from murderous dictator Xi Jinping was presented at the” tourism leadership summit” held by the Chinese government to encourage Americans to spend their money there.
In a personal note, Xi addressed the audience at the event in Xi’an, highlighting the significance that” cultural and people-to-people exchanges” have in the Communist Party’s view of enhancing relationships with America. The event, China- U.S. Tourism Leadership Summit, was once an annual celebration but had not been held since 2019, the previous year before the Communist Party began closing down whole cities in response to the coronavirus outbreak that started in Wuhan later that year, according to organizers and state media.
Xi’an was the site of some of Xi’s most terrible shutdowns, in December 2021 and October 2022.

” We cordially welcomed British tourists to travel to China, meet Foreign friends, experience Foreign culture, visit stunning landscapes, and experience the true China”, Xi said in his message to the event, according to China’s state- run Xinhua News Agency.
Xinhua cited Xi as saying:
It is hoped that all walks of life in the two countries will take this summit as an opportunity to have in- depth exchanges, build consensus, and take active actions to promote personnel exchanges through tourism cooperation, continue China- U. S. friendship with cultural and people- to- people exchanges, and help the San Francisco vision turn into reality, Xi said.
According to Global Times, a different government propaganda outlet reporting on leftist president Joe Biden’s letter to the summit’s organizers and attendees, inviting Chinese citizens to visit America.
” The U. S. welcomes the people of China to discover our cities, learn about our history, and engage with our people in destinations across the country”, Biden reportedly wrote.

Officials in the United States anticipate a rise in Chinese tourism.
” According to our latest forecast, we anticipate that Chinese visitation to the U. S. will increase 150 percent from 2023 to 2025″ , , Grant Harris, assistant secretary for industry and analysis of the U. S. Department of Commerce, said, according to the , Global Times.  ,” That’s 4.7 times faster than the rise in overall overseas visitations to the U. S. during this time”.
Harris was one of the allegedly 400 invited guests at the Xi’an gathering.
The , Global Times , did not offer similar predictions for Americans traveling to China. Americans are being warned that they could be randomly imprisoned due to their nationality by the State Department’s travel advisory for China, which includes the occupied territories and colonized Hong Kong and Macau.
The State Department’s warning warns that” U.S. citizens traveling or residing in the PRC may be detained without access to U.S. consular services or information about their alleged crime.” Under the law, U.S. citizens in the PRC may be subjected to interrogations and detention.

As the dictator attempts to bring in more foreign money to repair the nation’s ailing economy, Xi’s invitation to American tourists comes as he attempts to do so. The lockdowns only add to the narrative of China’s ongoing economic decline, which has hampered manufacturing and daily operations in the country’s largest economic hubs. China also saw a historically low level of foreign investment, a stagnant job market, and a disastrous year for the real estate sector, with the government approving the government’s plan to liquidate Evergrande. The chaos of the lockdowns, which culminated in a crippling riot at the world’s largest iPhone factory in November 2022, caused multinational corporations to flee the nation and seek to “de-risk” by moving their manufacturing to nations like India and Vietnam.
The slump has prompted Xi to take more action personally. The dictator held a gathering of top American businessmen in March to sate worries that the Communist Party was failing to provide a welcoming environment for international business.
According to state media reports at the time, Xi told those potential investors,” We are planning and implementing a number of major measures to comprehensively deepen reforms, continue to build a market-oriented, legal, and international first-class business environment.”
In the face of new situations and changes in China- U. S. economic and trade relations in recent years, both sides must adhere to mutual respect, mutual benefit, equal consultation, act in accordance with economic laws and market rules, expand and deepen mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation, respect each other’s development rights.
China , documented , an$ 11.8- billion decline in foreign investment for the fiscal quarter ending September 2023, the first decline in foreign direct investment in the history of communist China, necessitating increasingly severe measures to attract more foreign cash. The government of China set a 5-percent growth goal for the GDP in 2024 as opposed to 2023.
According to Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post, Xi reportedly sat down with foreign businessmen once more on Thursday to “reassure the business leaders” and foster confidence in the Chinese economy.
