On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s” Cavuto: Coast to Coast”, White House Senior Adviser Amos Hochstein stated that the Biden administration “made tremendous progress to advance solar energy in this country, to advance electronic vehicles, but that’s not the solution for regular people on a day- to- day basis, for lower prices”, but it’s” about moving the economy towards a cleaner and more effective energy economy”.
Does the President still want to continue moving forward with the same forceful change as it has been, as Host Edward Lawrence posed the question?
Hochstein responded,” Well, I think what President Biden wants to do is two points at once: one is to speed up the energy transition, and the other is to ensure that we have enough resources in the electricity market to reduce prices for consumers during this change. We have made significant progress in this state to improve renewable energy and electric vehicles, but that is not the solution for regular people on a daily basis. Instead, it is about moving the business towards a cleaner and more effective energy economy. And— but we also recognize that people have to pay their energy and fuel expenses, and that we want to make sure that as we transition to renewable energy, we have enough money to reduce costs for American consumers.
