On Wednesday, first lady Jill Biden claimed on ABC’s” The View” that co-host Joy Behar was correct to say that former president Donald Trump is unable to piece together.
Co-host Joy Behar said,” You know, one of the things that keeps bothering me is about his age. Because I’m the same time as your partner, that actually makes me crazy. I’m reluctant to disclose that, but I want people to know that’s exactly what 81 is. But I know, I have met him a couple of times. He appears to be completely ahead of it.
She added,” What do we have to do to show people that the person is qualified, alert, and doing the work and it’s not about his age. The other one has “like brain farts” in the middle of a power grab, wanders around, and ca n’t remember anything, ca n’t put a sentence together, and is pursuing Joe.
Biden said,” This vote is not about time because like I mean Donald Trump’s going to be, what, 78 and Joe is 81. They’re generally the exact age”.
She continued,” I believe that American people deserve a discussion because you need to see your choices.” You need to see Trump and you need to see the president and you need to see the differences, and my husband, and you’re going to see how smart he is and the experience he has and then you’ll see somebody who, like you’re saying, I’ll use Joy’s words, ca n’t put a sentence together”.
