President Joe Biden made the three-part plan by Israel for” an persistent peace” between Israel and Hamas and the transfer of all victims held in Gaza public.
At a White House State Dining Room speech on Friday, Biden said to the media,” Hamas needs to take the deal.”
The second stage of Israel’s” complete” strategy, if agreed to by Hamas, may include a six- year ceasefire, according to Biden.
That “full and full peace” would include the “withdrawal of Israeli forces from all occupied areas of Gaza” and , the “release of a number of victims including women, the old, the wounded, in change for the transfer of hundreds of Arab prisoners”, Biden said.
Phase two would include the exchange of all remaining living hostages, including male soldiers, and Israel withdrawing from Gaza, according to Biden. The third phase would include” a major reconstruction plan for Gaza” and “any final remains of hostages who’ve been killed” being “returned to their families”, the president said.
According to Biden, “everyone who wants peace now must raise their voices and let the leaders know they should take this deal.” He also described the conflict as “one of the hardest, most complicated problems in the world.”
” Work to make it real, make it lasting, and forge a better future out of the tragic terror attack and war”, he added. ” It’s time to begin this new stage. For the hostages to come home, for Israel to be secure, and for the suffering to stop. It’s time for this war to end, and for the day after to begin”.
Biden’s announcement coincides with Israel’s confirmation that the Israeli Defense Forces have reached southern Gaza’s central Rafah.

Following an Israeli airstrike that killed 45 Palestinians in an encampment for displaced people in Rafah, the White House made a staunch defense of Israel earlier this week. Two senior Hamas militants were killed in the attack, which also sparked a fire.
